Dr. Juglan Alvarez is a Cardiac Surgeon at the Division of Cardiovascular Surgery, Toronto General Hospital, University of Toronto. Previously he practiced at the Hospital de Clinicas, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil. He has been in practice for the last 15 years.
Dr. Alvarez was raised a Catholic and was always interested in spirituality. He gives a brief overview of his life and spiritual path. He describes how Sathya Sai Baba became His guru (spiritual guide) and how the SSSIHMS and Sathya Sai Baba helped him on his path. He also gives his experience in organizing the International Conference on Cardiovascular Diseases in Puttaparthi in 2010. Dr. Alvarez also describes how he assimilates Sai Ideal Healthcare practices into his current medical practice in Canada.
