In July 2022, the World Young Adults Festival (WYAF22) will be held in Prasanthi Nilayam. The theme chosen for the WYAF22 is Spiritually Awakening The Hearts of Young Adults (S.A.T.H.Y.A.). It is also the name of our beloved Lord, the ultimate goal and the foremost of the five Human Values. Young Adults from around the world will unite in joyful celebrations of this event and strengthen their spiritual pursuits.

The purpose of the Sathya Sai International Organisation (SSIO) is to help us realise our innate divinity. This event facilitates the journey of transformation for each individual by practicing the divine teachings of Sathya Sai Baba. The theme of transformation is reflected in all the initiatives of the International Young Adults programme, be it self-transformation through practice of the four steps in Sadhana of Love or through ‘Be-Do-See-Tell’ framework in the Sathya Sai International Leadership Programme for Young Adults. The idea is to transform oneself by making our lives the message of Sathya Sai Baba.

The WYAF22 will feature inspiring addresses by Young Adults and eminent guest speakers, panel discussions and interactive workshops/seminars, multi-media presentations, sharing of personal transformations, musical, dance and cultural performances, a global Sai Olympics and many other inspiring items.

This festival is for the Young Adults and by the Young Adults, and we urge all Young Adults to get involved. Full details will be available on this page and also on our social media pages on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter: @saiyoungadults.

Starting in March 2020, Pre-World Conferences/Young Adult Festivals will be held in at least 15 countries in all Zones. Further information about the World Young Adults Festival and the Pre-World Conferences/Young Adult Festivals is periodically posted on sathyasai.org. A schedule of the Pre-World Conferences may be found here.

If you would like to get involved and require further information, please contact your Young Adults Coordinator or email us at WYAF21@sathyasai.org. Further details of the International Young Adults programme can be found on: www.sathyasai.org/ya.

Many are called but few are chosen. We are blessed and fortunate to be chosen by Sathya Sai Baba to lead the Young Adults who are near and dear to Him, as we move forward with the divine mission. Let us pray for Sathya Sai Baba’s grace and guidance to serve Him with love, devotion and unity.

“You are the ones who will assume the leadership of the country in future. The future of the nation depends upon you. Your nature and character will decide the character of the nation. You should work for the prosperity of the nation, welfare of the world, and universal happiness. First of all, you must follow the command of the Lord. Therein lies your welfare, as well as the security of the nation and society.”

Veda Training for Sai Young Adults

“All the Vedas are intent on helping man to become aware of Divinity in him and all around him. Picture for yourselves the peace that seers gained by that awareness, and yearn to learn the lessons the Vedas treasure, for all mankind irrespective of caste, creed, race or nationality.”

Sathya Sai Baba, Dasara Discourse, 20 October 1982

Dear Sai Young Adults,
On the auspicious day of Sathya Sai Aradhana Mahotsavam, with the approval from Dr. Narendranath Reddy, Chairman, Sathya Sai International Organisation, we are pleased to announce the launch of the online Veda Training for Sai Young Adults, in preparation for the Sathya Sai World Young Adults Festival (SSWYAF22) in July 2022, Prasanthi Nilayam.

In 1962, on Sathya Sai Baba’s 36th Birthday, He lovingly said, "My love toward the Veda is equaled only by My love towards humanity”. That is how dear the Vedas are to our beloved Sathya Sai Baba and it is with His blessing that we are embarking on this sacred journey to collectively learn the Vedas.

The Veda training is developed to allow Sai Young Adults globally to learn the Vedic mantras which are commonly chanted at Prasanthi Nilayam and around the world.

Fortnightly lessons will be conducted commencing from 1 June 2020, including refresher and practice classes. Materials will be shared in advance of each session for Sai Young Adults to complete the required pre and post learning. In addition, special webinars with ardent devotees will be conducted throughout the year to support Sai Young Adults in learning and gaining a deeper understanding of the Vedas.

Beginner, intermediate and advanced tutorials will be conducted to ensure all Sai Young Adults are able to participate and attain proficiency.

The training will be for one year and will culminate in a wonderful offering to Sathya Sai Baba on Aradhana Mahotsavam on 24 April 2021.

For further information, please contact your Zone Young Adults Coordinators or email yaveda@sathyasai.org.

On behalf of the World Young Adults Festival Committee,
With Love and Sai Ram.
