Information Collected
Personal information: You can visit our website without providing any personal information. However, if you would like to volunteer in the activities of the SSSIO, we may collect your personally identifiable information (such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, or other identifying information) only when you choose to submit it to us, for example, if you are required to register to use any part of our website. This information is required to contact you for availing of any of your voluntary services.
Aggregate information: such as statistical or demographic data. Aggregated Data may be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate your Usage Data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature. Google Analytics is certified under the US-EU Privacy Shield, Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield, and operates under European Commission-approved Standard Contractual Clauses. We have agreed with Google LLC's data processing agreement to ensure they operate Google Analytics on our behalf.
We use IP anonymization. If you visit the website from within the states that form part of the European Economic Area, your IP address will be truncated before it leaves the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases (for example. a failure of the EU-based system) will the whole IP address be first transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
