WHAT IS Media Academy?  

A platform to teach media skills for SSSIO members via online classes and assignments.​ 

WHO IS Media Academy FOR?

For Media, Public Outreach, Archive Coordinators, Volunteer, SSSIO Officers, SSSIO members already working with Media.​ ​

WHY WE DO IT?  

Participants of the Media Academy will gain a better understanding of how to prepare and share reports about SSSIO activities.​ ​

WHAT IS THE CONTENT?  

The current Media Academy curriculum covers writing, photography and videography skills. Interviewing has been added to the curriculum covering both technical aspects as well as content of an interview. An interview is a powerful way to convey experiences of devotees to inspire others and preserve them for posterity. ​

Media Academy has been running since 2022. Media Academy is delivered by experienced teams of Media experts. There are an english speaking and a Spanish speaking Media Academy trainers teams.

The session time is primarily suited to each time zone, however, it is open to all members and Sai devotees interested in the SSSIO Media work and service from anywhere in the world. The content has been updated and expanded compared to the previous Media Academy runs and participants of previous Media Academy runs are welcome to join too. 

This is a stand alone, 2-hours session, and there will be no assignments. The session will cover the following topics: 

  • Videography
  • Photography
  • Interviewing
    • Technical requirements
    • Approach and content
  • Writing

There is no registration or need to let us know in advance. All are welcome.
