Dominican Republic

The Sathya Sai School in the Dominican Republic has an enrollment of 160 students–81 girls and 79 boys. In 2023, the school provided Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) classes to 11 children aged 6-13, divided into two groups. From May 19-21, volunteers distributed food and clothes and presented a drama. The teachers delivered gifts to the mothers of the schoolchildren and arranged for medical consultations. On May 20, the SSSIO Dominican Republic organized a medical camp in the community of Herrera for the benefit of 50 women, 17 men, and 30 children.

On November 25, the SSSIO organized a medical camp in La Ceiba to commemorate the advent of the Sathya Sai Avatar. Volunteers provided breakfast for all participants and distributed clothes, drinking water filters, and free medicines to 156 people.

El Salvador

In 2023, three medical camps were held in Jayaque, La Liberta, where free medicine and vitamins were given to 203 patients. Dr. Bangaruraju Kolanuvada and Dr. Ganesh Yadlapalli from the USA, as well as three local doctors, provided healthcare services at the second camp, which was organized as part of Swami's Birthday celebrations.

In May, Mr. John Behner held a training session on silence as a spiritual practice for teachers and the coordinating committee. On June 13, a workshop was held for the parents of SSE children to discuss the adverse impact of cell phone use and the importance of meditation. The Practical Spirituality Workshop, Part 1, was held in Plaza Kalpataru in October, with 45 participants. The second part of the workshop was attended by 30 people in November 2023.

Guatemala

The Sathya Sai School of Guatemala has 219 students, with 20 in preschool, 123 in primary, and 76 in secondary school. A sports program was implemented from February to October, and three students received the Academic Excellence Award for outstanding results.

Haiti

Three Partnership schools in Haiti, where 30 teachers provide education to 580 children, have remained open despite country-wide instability and hardship. They continue to offer a two-month summer course, academic and human values activities, daily meals, and tree saplings for greening and landscaping. Teachers trained in Haiti also train local teachers, staff, and parents in the Creole language.

Mexico

In March 2023, the Sathya Sai School of Chihuahua delivered food and toys to Raramuri, a low-income community.

Mexico City celebrated the 50th anniversary of the SSSIO with an event organized by 60 volunteers and attended by 338 people. More than 220 patients were served at two medical camps held at the Sathya Sai School of Cuernavaca and two medical camps in Tizate, Zapopan, Jalisco. In addition, individuals were given haircuts and human values classes were taught. Volunteers also distributed reading glasses and dog food.

High school students from the Sathya Sai School of Cuernavaca participated in a science exhibit created by the Institute of Nuclear Sciences of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (National Autonomous University of Mexico) in Mexico City. Eight experiments were presented at the state level and won prizes at the national competition. On October 20, the Sathya Sai School of Chihuahua distributed 108 trees to the families of the students and staff, promoting reforestation and love and respect for nature. From January to December 2023, in-person classes were given to four children from the Sai Center in Monterrey and 30 children at a children's shelter in Cuauhtémoc city.

In 2023, 105 patients were attended by a doctor and nurse at the Iztapalapa Community Sai Center. On Mother's Day, 60 bags of groceries were delivered to families of children attending human values classes. SSSIO volunteers delivered 300 meals to the Juarez Hospital in Mexico City.

An exhibition on Sri Sathya Sai Baba's life and work was held in Mexico City and Monterrey. A public conference, Inner Peace: A Path for Life, was held in Torreon, Tec of Monterrey School, and San Luis Potosi.

The Latin America Congress for SSSIO members and officers was held in San Luis Potosi, with 211 participants from Latin American countries. SSSIO rendered humanitarian aid in response to Hurricane Otis. The volunteers provided free medications to 101 adults, along with food hampers, pet food, formula milk, diapers, toys, and candy, and taught human values lessons to 50 children.

Panama

On December 16, 2023, 12 devotees visited Hogar Luz y Vida nursing home to deliver groceries and food for the elderly. On December 17, the Sai Center of Panama prepared 108 lunches for low-income people in different sectors.

On the same day, they celebrated Christmas in Chiriqui, preparing food for 300 people and distributing clean, used clothes and toys to children. On December 19, SSE students at the Sai Center in Colon delivered food and drinks to 50 underprivileged children while singing Christmas songs.
