Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Greetings of Loving Sairam to all of you.

With Love and gratitude, I offer myself at the Divine Lotus Feet of our omnipresent and loving Lord Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. I recently returned from the birthday celebrations of Bhagawan, the first without the physical presence of His unparalleled beautiful form, enchanting Divine smile, and sweet nectarine words. The holy land of Puttaparthi continues to be saturated with the divine love and blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. After I attended Baba’s week-long Birthday celebrations in Prasanthi Nilayam, I felt His divine presence inside and outside with even greater intensity.

The love and dedication of the world renowned artists, leaders, dignitaries, famous scientists, distinguished physicians, social workers and leading educators from around the world who offered their prayers and programs at His divine lotus feet touched the hearts of the thousands of people who were present. Swami’s divine presence and love were palpably felt by everyone throughout.

I would like to share some of the highlights, which moved and inspired me. On 19 November, Ladies Day, Mrs. Phyllis Krystal, an exemplary devotee and author of many popular books in Sai literature, shared that this is not the time to mourn, but to rejoice, in the loving omnipresence of our lord. We should see Him in everyone and everywhere and in His Divine works. On 22 November 2011, Prof. P. Balaram, Director of the prestigious Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, in his Convocation address proclaimed, as have many Presidents, Prime Ministers and Chief Ministers in the past, how Sathya Sai University is a unique institution where both character development and academic excellence are emphasised. Many cultural programmes by famous artistes like Dana Gillespie, the Malladi brothers, Mandolin Srinivas, and Anoop Jhalota were enjoyed by all. The drama Guru Mahima by Swami’s students on 21 November brought tears to many, bringing home the message and love of Swami.

The Chief Guest for 23 November was the Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu, His Excellency, Shree Konijeti Rosaiah. In his address to the devotees, Shree K. Rosaiah, asserted that the magnitude of the humanitarian projects undertaken and completed in record time by Bhagawan not only in India but also over 160 countries around the world are a testament to His Divinity. Prasanthi Nilayam is a Holy Abode of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba like Dwaraka of Bhagawan Sri Krishna and Ayodhya of Lord Sri Rama, said the Governor. He said that it is a greater blessing and good fortune to be a devotee of Sathya Sai one among millions than holding various high positions in the Government.

The USA Sai young adults grou,p who were lovingly instructed by Swami to come for His birthday, presented a musical programme at Sai Kulwant Hall on 25 November titled, 'SAI-- Our Divine Mother', highlighting Bhagawan Baba's loving presence in their lives.

Many people around the world were able to participate in these activities through the live streaming of the Birthday celebrations on Radio Sai. Devotees throughout the world were reminded that Sai is with us, here and everywhere, now and forever. The work He started continues undiminished.

The Christmas celebrations in Puttaparthi this year will include participation by devotees from countries all around the world, including Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia, Bosnia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Russian speaking countries, Latin America, and USA. It will be a blessed opportunity for devotees to participate in this glorious event in His Divine Presence.

Let us all resolve to continue the legacy and mission set in motion by Bhagawan with unity, love, and devotion. Let us pay heed to the clarion call of our Lord Sai—Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached—the goal supreme of realization that we are divine.

Jai Sai Ram

With loving regards,

Narendranath Reddy MD
